A PLACE FOR HUMAN-MADE CONTENT

Get back to authentic.

uneverything is a social app for people who want human-made content. AI-generated content is flooding the internet, and it is getting harder to know what is real. uneverything is built so authenticity is clear, and you are not left guessing.

Is AI fatigue a thing? Because I'm definitely feeling it.

I've been trying to live more intentionally. To do things that feel more real and more honest.

I think this really matters now more than ever. We are being suffocated by AI-generated content, polished words, images and opinions. And the more I see the more I value real expression and real things ( I'm starting to sound like an old man πŸ˜‚ )

I just don't connect with perfection. I connect with lived experiences, which is probably why my insta feed is full of explorers and van lifers.

Don't get me wrong, AI is an incredible tool, no doubt about it.. But it isn't me, the words it write are not mine, it can't hold my memories, or feel what I feel.

So in this time of artificial everything, feel like the right time to uneverything.

I hope the future belongs to real human connection.

I seem to be obsessed with two things at the moment, one being little pockets of light flooding my house and two, sorting and organising my cupboards πŸ’ͺ🏼

Seriously, I'm getting so much pleasure/satisfaction from both things right now 😁 The organising part I'm rolling with as this level of proactiveness reaaallly does not come naturally to me, trust me!

I also attempted re-styling my shelves the other day, I still need to have a little shuffle as something's not quite right πŸ€” I didn't quite make it as far as the top shelf as I got distracted by an episode of Couples Therapy πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Who else is watching? It's right up my street as you are literally (well not literally) a fly on the wall! If you're a bit of a Nosey Parker like me πŸ˜‚ then you will LOVE this and it's genuinely really interesting! Let me know what you think πŸ“Ί

Have a wonderful weekend whatever you're up to lovely people πŸ’›

πŸ”₯ They say the fire burned in the Bullring for fifteen years…

During the 1980s and 90s the pedestrian underpass in Waterloo was home to Europe's largest homeless population. People built and lived in shelters called 'bashes' and the fire there was a central gathering point.

"Sitting round the fire
sitting in the ring,
drinking beers and sherry plus cider from a tin, breaking up the pallets, smashing up the wood, put it on the fire, make it look good" - 'Bullring Drinking Days' by Jackie McNabb

As part of a major 'redevelopment' in the late 90s, the many residents of the Bullring were evicted to make way for the new IMAX cinema.

Led by people with experience of homelessness, St John's Church, Waterloo, hosted one of this year's unsung hero exhibitions 'The Bullring Lives On' which celebrated the lives of the people that called the Bullring home.

At the time St John's hosted the North Lambeth Day Centre (which offered daytime support to the homeless) and today within its beautiful grounds lies a monument to the homeless and a tree planted in honour of the Bullring residents.
